Today we meditate on Jesus passion – his arrest, trial, crucifixion, and death. And as we meditate on this story, the question before us is, “what does Jesus’ suffering mean for us today?” On the cross, Jesus experiences not only humiliation and excruciating pain, but abject God-forsakenness.
