Spirit of Life Shared Ministry is a shared ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC).  The ELCIC is the largest Lutheran denomination in Canada, with congregations from Whitehorse to Halifax.

Lutherans believe that God is a God of grace, and that God’s grace for all humanity – in fact, all of creation – is far deeper and more expansive than we can ever imagine. No human being is perfect: we are all sinners, but by God’s grace we are forgiven, redeemed, and adopted as God’s children. This is made possible by the saving life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

 

The ELCIC is organized by regional bodies called Synods. Spirit of Life Shared Ministry belongs to the Manitoba-Northwestern Ontario (MNO) Synod.
